Tracy greeted me with the loveliest welcome smile and found me a room where I could properly rest. I was exhausted and slept like an angel. The beds are really comfy, the rooms are great, and the service was lovely. I’d happily come back to Burdekin Motor Inn anytime. 🌹🌹🌹

The owner was nice, but kept watching me, which felt a little creepy and left me uneasy. The rooms were clean, though pretty average and a bit dated. Being on the highway at the edge of home hill made the place easy to get to. I wouldn’t stay again.

The train line behind the motel ran a few times overnight, and as a light sleeper I woke up each time. The other five people in my group slept through it, though. The kids had fun in the pool before we headed out in the morning. Staff were friendly and easygoing, and our rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the little extras. Great value.

The owners were happy to help and lovely to deal with. I also appreciate that they care about security. It’s an older place that’s well into the process of being reconditioned. It was the most expensive stop on our tour so far, but worth it. A great place to stay.
