Kalbarri Sunsea Villas

Villa 7 was a comfortable stop for our three nights on the way to Shark Bay. It’s a little dated, but very clean, with comfy beds and everything we needed. The washer was handy, though I wish detergent had been provided since travel-size packs are hard to find. Parking right outside the unit felt easy and secure, and the key access and communication with the owner were both straightforward.

We spent a week here in January with my extended family and had a great time. The villa suited four adults and a baby, with updated conveniences including Netflix. Out front there’s a good BBQ and outdoor seating, and across the road are the Murchison estuary mouth, jetty, and park. We spotted kangaroos in the morning and pelicans too. They also supply useful basics like shampoo, conditioner, towels, dish liquid, and cleaning products. We’d love to come back.

A comfortable overnight stay, with everything working as it should, especially the air conditioning. The place is a little dated, but the online booking and key drop setup worked well and the stay was pleasant.

We booked directly for the trip home and saved around 10%, so we’ll be back next year. On the way to Monkey Mia we stayed in Villa 3, then Villa 10 on the return. Both were clean, had great views, and were easy to access with self check-in.
