Quality Inn Railway Hotel

It’s good for the price, and overall not terrible. The bathroom had mould and pubic hair, and the fridge needs a clean. The food was average. When I called for room service, the woman could have handled the customer service better.

Getting off the train and finding the place right across the road from the station was great. There’s a continental deli opposite, and Woolworths is a short walk away. We were a group of 11 and sometimes gathered around the table by the pool to relax, which worked perfectly. The pool was cold, but a nice refresher. The rooms were spacious, family friendly and had everything we needed. Food from the restaurant could be delivered as room service. Lots of workers seem to stay there: during the day it looks empty, then the carpark fills up by 6pm and they’re gone again in the morning. Great place to stay in Kalgoorlie.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and we didn’t eat at the motel. Our two-bedroom apartment had two queen beds and was pretty clean. The kitchen had what we needed if we wanted to cook, though the couches could use a good clean. I couldn’t find the ironing board, maybe it was in a locked cupboard.

We stayed for the last two Saturdays and have booked another three nights. The Deluxe room was very generous in size, spotless and extremely quiet, and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Dinner was great too, we had Nasi Goreng and Salt and Pepper Squid.
