The shower water pressure was abysmal, which was my one criticism. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable, the location very convenient, and the staff friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had to cut our trip short because of some bad news and a family emergency, and really appreciated being refunded for the night we missed.
The rooms don’t have air conditioning, only the living area does, so you need to leave the door open for the cool air to reach them. The windows can’t be opened. Still, the convenient location and lovely staff are key for me, and I’ll definitely come back. Complimentary parking with the room saved us time on the road, and the reception staff were nice and professional. We arrived early and they had our room cleaned up in under an hour. Everyone, from reception to the cleaners, gave exceptional customer service.
We were very happy with the service and would visit again. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. Even after the kitchen had closed, the kitchen staff opened it back up so we could have dessert.
After driving all the way from the Gold Coast, I stopped at the on-site restaurant Yves for a well-deserved lunch and a drink. Jake greeted me warmly and was so thoughtful. Travelling solo, it was nice to chat and feel like a local. He also makes fantastic Aperols. Great service and place!
Room 223 has windows facing north and east, with roller blinds and curtains, and is fully air conditioned. The fig trees have been trimmed back, so you can wake up to a spectacular sunrise view. It’s also suitable for someone with a disability, with a shower seat, a larger-than-usual bathroom, and space inside the room for a motorized scooter. See photo of the view.
