Norfolk Hotel

We enjoyed the ambience at “The Norfolk” and will be back. I loved the 6 degree pilsner, and my husband had the Nail VPA. The beers came ice cold and were presented well. He enjoyed his steak, while I had fish and chips. There were too many chips for me, and it would be better if a GFO option were available. I was advised that whiting shrinks considerably, so it’s too small to grill. I’ll choose a different dish next time.

A big thank you to Valerio and the kitchen team for everything you do for the Fremantle Street Kitchen. The hungry crowd who had the ragu we served last week kept coming back to tell me how delicious it was. A couple of people even said it was the best food they’d had all year. Thanks again from all of us at The Fremantle Street Kitchen for your ongoing support and the delicious meals you donate regularly.

The room for two with a toilet was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed two nights and ate at the hotel restaurant/bar both evenings. The food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and the restaurant staff were cheerful and friendly. Check-in staff were helpful and welcoming too. The hotel is in a great spot close to Fremantle market and within walking distance of Victoria Quay.

The Old Fellow Cocktail team were brilliant, and everyone else I dealt with was among the nicest, most efficient hospitality staff I’ve met in ages. The room was beautifully presented, especially for an old building, and the stay was wonderful and a bit quirky. One small thing: I wasn’t sure what to do with the key when we left, and couldn’t find anyone around at 8:30. A return box might help. Please pass my compliments on to the team.
