The room was great for a pub stay, with plenty of space, a hot, powerful shower and everything clean. Dinner service was fantastic too. Shout out to Joy, Maya and Alysha, they ran the floor like it was their own business. The food was incredible, fresh, light, full of flavour and generous portions. 10/10 for last night.

There were eight of us for a Birthday dinner at Darbys Bar and Grill. Jayden looked after us attentively and made the evening feel special. The food was beautiful, generous and arrived very quickly. The Birthday boy was treated to a special drink and Sticky date pudding from the bar.

We’d meant to stop here for ages, and finally had the time to enjoy it. Such a charming place, with a lovely FOH team and incredibly delicious food. We’ll definitely come back!

The aranci was nice, and the pasta main was good with enough prawns. But the chicken satay was poor value at about $26, with at best half a breast in it. We went for lunch on Wednesday when there weren’t many customers, yet I had to find someone to take our order while the staff were chatting among themselves. When I mentioned the satay as I paid, I got so many “sorry”s it became sickening. Fix the dish before it reaches the table.

We had to book at short notice, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was clean and very well appointed for the price, and we really enjoyed the stay. Darcy’s Bistro suited us perfectly, with good food and service and no need to travel elsewhere.
