We were left with nowhere to stay at 6pm, three hours from home, after management cancelled our booking without telling us. When we tried to rebook and find out what had happened, they yelled at us, then charged a $150 cancellation fee even though we hadn’t wanted to cancel. The management was horrible, and the man working there was the rudest person I’ve ever met. It ruined our holiday. I have nothing good to say about this place, so save your money and stay elsewhere.

The room had everything we needed for an overnight stop, and for what we paid we were happy with it. It was clean, the hot water and pressure were great, and the aircon worked well. Simon at Reception welcomed us with a warm smile and check-in was easy. We appreciated the ground floor room, especially for parking, and the location worked well for us. The service and room were both faultless. I’d recommend this Motel and would gladly return when passing through or staying a few days.

The pool is lovely, and the hosts were really kind and helpful. There’s a dedicated smoking area too. It’s a great spot for a walk or a bit of downtime watching the water sports, with the beach and Marine Parade close by. Plenty of eateries nearby to choose from :)

I stayed one night and had to spend time disputing a charge with my bank. They asked for a $200 deposit, which seemed excessive, but only $128.42 came back. I called the motel and spoke to Simon. He was very rude and told me to contact my bank. When I said the bank wasn’t responsible for this, he tried to end the call. Now I have to file a transaction dispute. 🚨 Customer beware, they scam 🚨

We’ve stayed here a few times and would come back when we’re on the Gold Coast again. The location is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the staff are great.
