The kids had so much to do here, from the kids club and pool to the jumping pillow, beach access and mini golf. We liked the creative cabin designs, palm trees and friendly feel, and it was close to some other great spots too. The staff and facilities were amazing during our two nights. The games room could use upgrades, like air hockey, claw machines and more games, but there’s still plenty to do. Loved the coffee cart in the mornings, and the visits from the ice cream truck and dessert can too. We’ll be back.

The kids’ discos and jumping pillow afternoons show what Michael brings to Wairo Beach Holiday Park. I’ve watched him calmly but firmly deal with rough behaviour so younger children aren’t pushed around or intimidated. As a father, I often stand nearby to keep an eye on my young son, and I’ve seen Michael step in. That’s care and leadership, not just supervision. I’ve been coming here for close to 20 years, and my wife’s family has owned a cabin for nearly 34. Managers have come and gone, but Michael stands out. He listens carefully when I raise even small concerns, whether about cabin maintenance, an adjustment or a general question, then responds respectfully and follows through. You feel heard, and you see action. When our family or others have needed support, he’s gone above and beyond. He takes real ownership of the place, as if he owned it himself. There’s pride in the details. If something breaks, it’s fixed promptly; if there’s an issue, it’s handled professionally and without fuss. I can only imagine that same standard applies to everyone in the park. He often seems to anticipate problems before they arise, something I haven’t seen consistently from anyone else here in two decades. I also see him working beyond ordinary business hours, on weekends and public holidays, early mornings and late afternoons. While others are enjoying a break, he’s walking the grounds, checking facilities, repairing and cleaning what needs it, and keeping the park running smoothly. His visible work is significant, and I can only imagine how many unseen hours he puts in too. His efforts have helped make Wairo Beach Holiday Park a destination for cabin owners and holidaymakers alike. The atmosphere, organisation and sense of care make it a wonderful place to return to. Michael is approachable, accommodating and an absolute gentleman. He’s a blessing to the park and a champion in every sense. If I were hiring for integrity, reliability and sheer work ethic, I’d employ him in a heartbeat. Wairo Beach Holiday Park is incredibly fortunate to have him leading the way.

The powered sites were huge, so we had a really comfortable three-night stay with family and friends. The kids had a blast and asked if we could stay longer next time. Everyone was happy, and we all agreed we should make it an annual trip. I’ve never stayed at a park with a full kitchen setup, including a fridge and freezer, plus a BBQ area like this. The staff were all very friendly. We’ve just left, and I’m already keen to come back.

The kids had a blast in the pool, and the beach was a hidden gem. Staff were friendly and helpful too. We spent three nights in the new Deluxe Poolside villa, which was spotless and well equipped, in a perfect spot in the park. Only downside was having to leave. Highly recommend for families with kids.

We loved the quirky Main Street cottages and the park’s lovely layout. It was clean, and the location near such a stunning beach is wonderful. I’d booked the wrong date, but the team didn’t blink and rearranged the three sites we’d booked. Wairo Beach Holiday Park was fabulous. Couldn’t rate them highly enough.
