Cunningham Shore Motel

The water pressure was the only good thing. We were in room 5, the accessible room, but there was no shower chair as shown on the website and no grab rail beside the very low toilet to help you get up. Housekeeping didn’t refill the coffee or biscuits and missed an extra clean towel. The ceiling plumbing was noisy at times when other guests used the water, and the old style air conditioner was really loud even on its lowest setting. One night someone else was parked in our disabled parking space when we got back. The Asian guy trying to run the show hasn’t got a clue. I don’t recommend staying here.

Michelle was lovely and very helpful, and it was an easy walk to the centre of things. The waterfront motel was good, with a clean room and effective air conditioning. The pipes in the bathroom squealed a bit when I or the people next door showered, though the rooms further down didn’t have that problem. I’d book again. Also, thanks for cleaning the car windows, that was really thoughtful.

The owner even cleaned the windscreen, back and side windows, which was such great service and not something you see every day. The motel is very well looked after and presented, and I’d definitely recommend it. Our room was clean, with a comfy lounge, a large bathroom and plenty of bench space. There was a toaster and bowls if you want to make your own breakfast, or breakfast can be delivered to the room.

We could leave the car there and walk to both the shops and the beach. Even our windscreen and back window were washed. The owners were very friendly. We only had one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely and fresh, airy and so clean when we walked in.
