Cleveland Estate

Dinner at Cleveland Estate was a real treat after a long day. The steak had a great sear and came with punchy chimichuri and flavourful chips, while the chicken was also beautifully cooked and full of flavour. We started with crisp arancini, a fresh olive and tomato tapenade, and very creamy burrata. The staff were warm and attentive all evening, and the setting is stunning. Compliments to chef Reuben Rajaratnam for a fantastic meal and for taking such good care of our gastronomical requirements. We had an incredible summer dinner and would highly recommend it.

Breakfast the next morning was amazing, and Kayla deserves a thank you. The day before, even with a wedding happening at lunchtime, the team found us a lovely lounge overlooking the vines and arranged a private table. Our delicious three-course lunch included choices like pork belly, smoked salmon and beef cheeks. We walked through the vines, then came back for dessert and coffee, and didn't need dinner that night! The gardens are so pretty, and we also toured the 1880’s mansion and tasted wine. Pasan and Moira were very hospitable. It's a hidden getaway on the way from Melbourne to Echuca, with excellent service.

The views and location were fantastic, and our room was clean, beautiful, and had a great big comfortable bed. Everyone on staff served us with a smile, and the food and wine were delicious. My partner and I had a beautiful night away at Cleveland estate. We loved it so much that we'll definitely return and make it a yearly tradition.

The staff were the best part, especially the young food and beverage team working under Amy. They looked after everyone with real warmth and professionalism, and worked seamlessly together. We spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. Our clean king room had a very comfortable bed and smelled like a day spa. Dinner at the restaurant was fresh and seasonal, and breakfast was great too, with local produce continually topped up rather than sitting in metal trays under lights. I especially liked the poached eggs on spinach. For me, a chewy sourdough would have made the already high-quality breakfast even better.
