The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was good, and there's a smart TV. Staff were friendly too. Check-in was about as easy as it gets: they email you a door code and you let yourself in. There's also a huge covered parking area.

The room was comfortable, quiet and clean, but the motel as a whole is starting to look neglected and run down. I was there for work recently, and the online photos seem old. There's no restaurant or bar on site, and despite what Google says, there's no shade cloth over the pool either.

The rooms are okay, though a little dated, and the motel grounds are spacious. Getting in was easy with a code sent to my phone, so there's no room key.

The bathroom is roomy, and the beds are large. My only real complaint was the shower: there's no door, curtain or raised edge, so water ends up across the whole floor. I flew into Longreach last week with a big group, and the rooms had everything we needed. It's a moderate walk from the airport, across the highway and railway line, but close enough that you probably don't need a taxi unless you've got lots of luggage. The staff also gave us really helpful dinner suggestions and arranged transport.

Room 49 had a musty, mouldy smell, and there was mouse droppings on the pillow and a gecko in the room. The bed was hard, and it felt like something was crawling on me. I woke at 2 am with an asthma attack from the mouldy smell. I definitely won't stay here again.
