The apartment was roomy, with a spacious lounge and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, and covered parking for one car with space for more. Beds were comfortable, the shower was good, and the location was handy for pubs and the main street. The air conditioning was outstanding: even with 43 degrees outside, it kept the inside at a cool 24, and we could have the windows open. Great value for couples or groups of adults travelling together. We loved it and would stay again.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable night's sleep in this self-contained place. There's laundry access and off-street parking, and it's an easy walk to Longreach's main street.

Everything worked well, and the evaporative cooling was fantastic because we still got fresh air in the unit. It's very close to town, with the main tourist attractions just a two-minute drive up the highway.

We arrived late in the evening and had a hiccup with the accommodation, but the manager came to help straight away, even at 9 pm, and sorted it out immediately. Thanks, Paul, we really appreciated the effort. The meals at Longreach Tavern that you recommended were great too.

The apartment seemed ideal at first, with great parking that felt safe, lots of space, a washing machine and a big TV. The two complimentary beers and two small wines were nice, and it's still a nice place to stay. But the evaporative air conditioning made everything damp, was very loud and didn't cool things much. Our sheets and pillows were damp too, and my partner got a rash from the sheets. We weren't sure if it was a bug or just the damp humidity. The rubbish bin was still full from the previous guests. The whole place really needs refrigerated air conditioning.
