Mitchell Grass Retreat

We had a lovely stay, and everything was well prepared for guests. The place was nice and clean, and we asked for the BBQ set. There's a shop about a 10-minute drive away if you want more things to grill. Getting there was a bit confusing because there was no sign, but keep driving to the intersection and you'll see the board on your right. The hospitality was beyond what we expected. I'd recommend staying more than one night so you can relax and enjoy it ✨

The low light pollution made for a lovely night sky, and we caught the Milky Way by the warmth of a campfire with cute little marshmallows. The farm animals were beautiful too. This glamping stay at Mitchell was the highlight of our road trip, and the team had put such care into the facilities and details. The bed was so comfortable, and there was even a bathtub. We highly recommend the BBQ set. The salad and meat and sausages were the best we'd tried in AU. We're Asian, and we don't lie! Thanks for a memorable, luxurious experience. We hope to come back. My first glamping stay, and the setup at Mitchell Grass Retreat was far more appealing and relatively luxurious than anything I'd seen before. It ticked every box, impressed our friends, and gave all of us a memorable experience. Go for it, you'll enjoy it.

As part of Fun Over 50's Icons of the Outback Tour, we had dinner at Mitchell Grass Retreat's new Indigenous “ Sounds and Flavours of Country at Sundown”. Our hosts welcomed us warmly, and native flavours were paired with Indigenous storytelling for a unique meal. We enjoyed welcome drinks and canapes outdoors as the sun set over a stunning view.
