We only stayed a night, and the room turned out better than expected. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well.

Parking seems to be first come, first served. The room and bathroom were tidy and clean, with the feel of a standard motel room that's had a fairly recent, more modern renovation.

My son and I couldn't get to the property after council closed the roads because of flooding. I contacted the establishment straight away and asked for a full or even partial refund, since we couldn't use the booking and needed the money for somewhere else while waiting for the roads to reopen. They refused and charged me for the whole stay, despite the declared natural disaster being beyond my control. We had to stay at a caravan park and pay for extra accommodation while still being charged for the unused room. I booked in good faith before any flood warnings or closures, while travelling home alone with my young son, and there'd been no sign that heading east would become impossible. It was very disappointing to see so little discretion or compassion during an officially declared weather event. Other travellers should know that this establishment keeps the full payment even if floodwater cuts off access.

It's a quiet, clean motel in a handy spot. You book online, then get a door code since reception isn't staffed. Maddi, the off-site assistant, was brilliant. We'd almost say it's no good so there'd be a vacancy next time, but we can't.
