Marbles on Lovedale

Yvette and Darren were friendly and helpful, and were always around if we had questions. The two-bedroom villa was spotless, with plenty of provisions and extra linen. We could log into our own Netflix and YT accounts on the smart TV. The air con remote had a low battery, which Darren replaced straight away. One bedroom fan was noisy and wobbly, though, and unfortunately that couldn’t be fixed while we were there. Thanks for the hospitality.

The recently renovated apartments were tidy and very clean, and the owner was polite and professional. Guests can also use the huge BBQ area. I’d be happy to stay here again.

A spotless villa, plenty of towels and amenities, and a warm, welcoming feel. The owners were attentive and helpful while still giving us room to enjoy the weekend. They let us check in and out late, and even helped us sort out our trailer. The shared deck and BBQ were really handy, and could work well for a larger group or for socialising with other guests. It’s a little gem for the price. I’ll definitely be back.

The lady who was our contact, presumably the owner, was pleasant. The cottage was generally clean, though some of the empty kitchen cupboards needed wiping. It had a bedroom, bathroom without a bath, lounge with a tiny TV and a small kitchenette. There was a comfortable sofa, a wooden table and two wooden chairs. The decor felt basic and 1970s, with modular cupboards and very dim lighting. We stayed two nights, which was enough. The bed was comfortable but small compared with our king at home. Under the duvet I got too hot, but without it I was cold. At night a pump kept switching on and off for about an hour and woke me up. Apparently it was a faulty pump, and I shouldn’t have flushed the toilet. The $418 price was reasonable enough, but I wouldn’t stay again.
