Jason made us feel welcome and was really helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and parking on the street was easy, even with a truck. Mandarin Motel is in a handy spot for workers travelling through. I’d happily stay again next time I’m passing. Highly recommend it.

A good midway stop between Brisbane and Sydney, and we’d consider staying again on the trip. Check-in was quick, and our upstairs room was tidy, clean and much larger than expected. I managed the stairs, though they could be tricky for an older guest. We didn’t try breakfast, but it’s available. A toaster in the room might be useful.

We slept well in a lovely bed, with no noise around us. The rooms are big, and the place felt welcoming and very clean. It’s an easy walk to the pub and other food spots. The managers or staff were friendly too. I’d recommend it for a night or two.

Meiling and Jason were lovely hosts during our 6-night stay. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy, and we could walk to the CBD from the motel. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you.

The host was friendly, and check-in went smoothly. The rate was reasonable, and the pub is within walking distance. We had a quiet, spotless room with a comfortable bed, clean sheets, aircon and block-out curtains. If you’re stopping in or travelling through Macksville and need somewhere to rest, this ticks all the boxes.
