Marion Bay Holiday Villas

Brett, the manager, was quick to help when we needed extra bedding taken away and more gas for the barbies. The place was great value, and we'd love to come back. It worked well as a base for our beach and bush outings, with enough room for all four of us to spread out in the living area and on the deck. The unit seems to have been updated bit by bit, with a new fridge and shower screen and fittings, and everything was in good nick. The small bedroom was musty, maybe because of the carpet, but the kids didn't mind.

We came back for a second stay and enjoyed it just as much. It was comfortable, clean and tidy, and nicely presented. The kitchen had the essentials. There's no oven, but there's a big electric frying pan, and you can cook anything in one if you know how. 😊

The view out the window wasn't much, though it's just a short walk to some beautiful scenery. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the furnishings looked new. I struggled with the key security box at first, but managed to open it after a while. I'd be happy to return. This is such a beautiful part of the country.

😡It wasn't there! I arrived before 5pm in winter after prepaying through Travel Auction, but had to book into a Caravan Park with my 88-year-old aunt. The message bank was always full. Locals tried calling the manager for me, but got no answer. Apparently this happens regularly. I phoned at 7:45pm.
