After a long, hot day, the pool was a welcome extra. There was also a minibar in the fridge if needed, and Chromecast for movies and other viewing. It didn’t work in our first room, but they quickly swapped us to another where it worked well. We’ve stayed in plenty of motels and camps while volunteering for BlazeAid, and this one was excellent. The quiet corner location, single level layout, parking right outside the room and space for our trailer all worked well. The room was spotlessly clean, including the sparkling bathroom. It had a microwave, cutlery and plates, plus detergent and a towel for making meals or breakfast.

It’s well located, an easy walk to the main strip of shops and places to eat. The rooms were clean and nice, and the pool was clean and looked after. I was pleasantly surprised by the old school minibar stock, Snickers, beer, soft drink and the like. Really friendly place to stay.

I’ve stayed at this motel on and off for four years without a problem, but this booking was upsetting. I booked online through the motel and selected the photo labelled deluxe queen plus, the room I’ve always had, with one single and one double bed. At reception I was told I hadn’t booked that room and had only paid for one double bed. They said I’d have to pay more for the single and double in one room. The website uses the same photo for deluxe queen plus and deluxe twin, which I consider false advertising. I asked for the room shown in the picture, but the receptionist refused. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they couldn’t be reached. I’m really sad about this and won’t be back. See the website pictures below.

Booking is easy and the prices are very competitive. The rooms are consistently clean, well maintained and have all the amenities. Having parking right outside the room is super convenient. It’s popular, so book well ahead during busy periods. Best place to stay in Maryborough, highly recommend.

The service was friendly, and it was an easy walk into town. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a modern bathroom and kitchen.
