Shawn and Hillary made us feel very welcome, and had lots of local knowledge to share for anyone who likes to wander. We stayed in for the night on birthday weekend because the room had such a relaxing, homely feel. The finishing and attention to detail were lovely, with relaxing scenery outside. There was an ensuite with a huge modern spa and a fireplace. They provided movies and recommended local food too. No wonder we stayed in. Highly recommend the place. Thanks, Shawn and Hillary.

We stayed about October 2016 for two nights, just to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere and scenery. It was wonderful, and the host was brilliant. The surrounding area is well worth driving around. Highly recommend.

A lovely anniversary weekend. Everything was straightforward and handled in a covid safe way. Uber is available around here, but book ahead, since finding one at short notice can be difficult.

Really tranquil and nice. The room was a good size, with a spa bath and a pleasant separate outdoor area.
