Walter is a really friendly man, and the location is beautiful and quiet. I was glad I could bring my little dog. We’d love to return in winter and light the fire Walter has already set up. The shower head is heaven too.

Walter made the place feel welcoming, and I had a wonderful couple of days in this peaceful spot. My GSD, Sherni, had all the room she needed to run around and chase birds, and even got to see the horse up close.

I liked it so much that I bought my mum a stay there for Christmas. When I visited with my boyfriend a few months earlier, everything felt lovely, clean and comfortable. The facilities were good, the heating was excellent and the whole place was really well kept. =)

A lovely natural getaway from the bustle, with an open fire, a great outlook from the balcony and morning coffee. Dogs can come along too. The owners leave you to yourself, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get away from people.

We spent a couple of nights here in Aug 2010. It made a great base for exploring the nearby parks, and the cottage had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. It was very private, and we loved the log fire and spa.
