Como Court

We paid 260 dollars for one night, and the smell of smoke was so strong we couldn't enjoy our stay. My partner and I only needed somewhere to sleep before an event, but the stink got into the bedsheets and even my clothes. We couldn't air the room out because the windows were painted and bolted shut. A man woke us up screaming angrily. When we checked out, we saw the front had been broken into: the glass in the front door was cracked and the entry buzzer was broken. Dodgy place, I wouldn't recommend it. There are much nicer, even cheaper options. There's a reason this place is non-refundable.

The room was in poor shape, with stains on the sheets and towels, a visibly dirty bathroom sink and marks all over the walls. The blinds were broken and hanging off their hinges, and the window wouldn't open for fresh air. The air conditioning didn't work properly, so the room was uncomfortably warm. Cigarette smoke filled both the room and hallway, even though the hotel is advertised as smoke-free. The online photos were misleading, and we got nothing like what was shown. My partner and I had a horrible stay and wouldn't recommend it. We'll look elsewhere next time.

The building smelled of cigarettes and weed. My wife and I were also badly bitten by bed bugs, and we heard a woman being beaten in the room above us without staff coming to check. My room was broken into two nights in a row. After the first night, I found my belongings had been tampered with and told the desk worker. Staff said my wife was the last person to leave at 10 am and there was no footage after that. The next night, I came back to find the whole room trashed and stripped. The worker on duty showed no empathy and told us to sleep on the streets if we didn't want to stay because we felt unsafe. He also said he couldn't access the footage. $5,000 worth of charity items and $1000 of my personal belongings were stolen.

We spent one night here and it was awful. There were empty drug bags everywhere, and I nearly stepped on a syringe. I won't stay again!
