Quest Frankston

Ours was a roomy, quiet apartment at the back, up one flight of stairs with no lift. The beach and large shopping centre were both about a 5 minute walk away. There was also free parking.

The place was clean and nice, the staff were friendly, and the bed was comfy, but the pillows were terrible. People in the next apartment partied loudly until 6am, so I got no sleep. I should’ve read the handbook about how to make complaints.

We needed two clean, decent rooms for 4 nights and were happy with the spacious rooms here. They had basic kitchen facilities, a washing machine, dryer, small balcony, kettle, TV and free WiFi. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It’s just a few minutes’ drive from a shopping centre with Woolworths, Aldi, restaurants, Kmart, banks and fruit shops. We’ll definitely come back.

The receptionist was super lovely when I called for a bath plug, but waiting in a towel for it was pretty disappointing. The bath was dirty and there wasn’t a plug in the room, and the TV was quite small. We only got one towel each, which felt stingy and sexist, especially since many girls need a towel for their hair. We were also short on cutlery, with just one fork and one knife, and the room felt unclean overall. I was already disappointed after one night, then they charged us $150 because we’d left the key on the bench inside. That was a real letdown after I’d saved up for this holiday.
