Re'em Yarra Valley

The view from our window booth was lovely, with the vineyard showing off its autumn colours, and even with a busy restaurant we could hear each other easily. We were there for my husband’s birthday; after lunch they surprised us with a complimentary drink and a lovely cake. The Yum Cha Lunch let us pick eight dishes to share, which worked really well. My favourites were the scallop and chive shumai and the crispy prawn roll. Staff were attentive and gave helpful answers when we asked about the menu.

Our room looked spectacularly over the lake, and it was spacious and well equipped. The peaceful setting and views were hard to beat. The graze and dine package covered what we needed, with a few extras that made the birthday weekend feel special. Staff were friendly and knew the facilities well. We also really enjoyed the food, which introduced us to some new flavours; portions were generous and there was plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast. Can’t wait to come back with family and friends.

We went to Re’em for my wife’s birthday lunch and left very happy. The Asian Fusion food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was great. There’s a fantastic view across the grounds and surrounding countryside. A real hidden gem in Yarra Valley, and one we’d happily recommend.

We found Re’em Helen & Joey Estate through a friend, and I’m so glad we did. The garden is worth making time for, with everything grown and arranged so thoughtfully. We had a delicious Asia fusion lunch, including tasty vegetarian choices, and mantou and fried rice arrived as unexpected extras. Earlier, Keren (sorry for spelling) guided us through the wine tasting and shared what she knew without steering our personal opinions. Tasting different wines at our own pace, seated with a gorgeous garden view, made for a lovely afternoon. We’ll definitely be back.
