The shower and toilet block has just been renovated, and the facilities are lovely and clean. The washing machines and dryers are new, too. The location is great, though the rain meant the shop shut early, which was a pain if you needed bait, ice or milk after fishing. The boat ramp in the camp area was advertised as steep for bigger boats, and the deeper ramp is a few km away. Early morning fishermen were noisy around 4am, and one camp had little dogs that yapped a lot. Be prepared for that.

We barely touched our phones, so I didn't take any photos. My partner and I had a few days of camping and fishing with old friends and their family, with lots of laughs and games with the grandkids. It's only an hour's drive from us in Bundy. We’re planning to come back and hire a cabin.

The facilities were clean and easy to use. It's a quiet little park just off the Bruce Highway, and a great place for freshwater fishing. It felt like a hidden gem to me. Worth a stay if you want a fun camping spot.

I stayed overnight with my dog while on a road trip. At $18, it was great value, with heaps of grassy sites and a family-owned feel. It's 4kms from the highway, so there was no road noise. You don't have to be a fisherman to stay here. It works well for an overnight stop if you've brought your own food.

We've been coming here for over a decade, and it's such a great place to stay. The grounds are kept tidy and well maintained, with plenty of shaded spots for our tent. The camp kitchen facilities are fantastic, and we love the mini golf and activities they've added for the kids.
