The service team tried to make us comfortable on a miserable, rainy day, seating us by the pot belly stove and bringing us each a blanket. There wasn't much atmosphere beyond a large group chatting at one table. Lunch was a letdown. The menu was very limited because of a new chef, and our beef fillet arrived almost immediately, much rarer than the medium and medium rare we had requested. It came with fried eggplant and beef tartare, an odd combination, and no sides like potatoes or greens. The plate felt very brown for $48. They promptly took the beef away when we asked to have it cooked more. We decided against risking dessert.

The gnocchi was perfect, and the tomato entree made a lovely start to the meal. We were the first couple to try the new French chefs menu, and the flavours were beautifully balanced with fresh produce. The beef tartare was scrumptious too. Kimberly welcomed us warmly, took us through the wine tasting, and looked after us throughout. We arrived without expectations and left with a really lovely memory. We couldn't fault the experience and will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

The views are stunning, and the wine selection is beautiful. Kimberley, the cellar door wine steward, was warm and welcoming as well as incredibly knowledgeable. Tasting with her was a real pleasure, and we'll certainly return soon.

The vineyard was amazing, with lovely staff, good wine, and delicious food. The landscape is beautiful too. It's not far from Sunshine Coast, though the road wasn't the easiest in a motorhome, which is what we were travelling in. That's down to our own poor planning. Definitely a place worth visiting, five stars.

We stopped for a wine tasting with the wifey near Montville. Such a beautiful spot, and the staff were super friendly. Kimberly knew her wine and helped us pick a bottle we really liked. We also shared a charcuterie board for two, with excellent quality food and a lovely view. Highly recommend if you're around Montville :)
