Moranbah Motor Inn

Bring your own plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. My room had none of those, not even mugs, despite having a microwave, toaster, small fridge and kettle. There were 4 paper cups and some wooden sticks instead. Rooms were OK and clean and tidy, with Foxtel if that's your thing, but the TV was tiny and couldn't be adjusted for viewing angle. The futon style sofa had some very dodgy looking stains on it, bet it shines up bright as under a UV lamp. Wifi wouldn't connect to the internet, so the password in the room seemed pointless. A Chinese lady parked in my spot, so close that I struggled to get in the door with my bag without touching her car. There was no one on reception, and you have to phone a number.

The rooms are a little dated, but very clean and functional, and I'd definitely stay again. Happyland restaurant up the road is the very best part of the motel. All the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the stuffed chook wings starter.

The rear room was quiet and away from traffic noise, and the location was central to where I needed to be. It was clean, neat and tidy. I really appreciated that the AC was on before I arrived. I'll stay there again.

I was there for a week at the Moranbah Motor Inn. The room was super clean and tidy, and got cleaned and refreshed every week day. The owners were friendly and helpful. It's a great affordable place to stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Moranbah!
