For an overnight stay, I’d give it 10/10 for location, close to everything. The staff were very accommodating, especially the easygoing front desk team and the breakfast staff. Highly recommended for a convenient stay with great service and no hassle. -Mateo,Lucia,Paolo

I only joined SCV last year and was really impressed by the facilities. We don’t use the rooms, but during season '23 we made a lot of use of the cafe and restaurant, especially while my wife was recovering from a knee reconstruction. The downstairs coffee is probably the best on the mountain, without the huge queues you find at some other places like Birdcage. The menu is limited, but the food is good quality. Membership gets you a discount, so the quality and price make us want to keep coming back. There’s a great choice of beers too.

I first saw snowflakes drifting over the peak of Mt. Buller almost 30yrs ago, when I was a wild young man. Now I’m back skiing with my wife and kid. Such a wonderful experience!

We went for the sport rather than to relax, so the location was okay for us. The rooms and service were great, and it’s a good place to stay.

Lorena took such good care of us. She was friendly, hospitable, and helpful, and the concierge service couldn’t have been better. The whole lodge is well heated, the restaurant food is fantastic, better than many places in Melbourne, and there’s foosball on the second floor. I’d definitely recommend staying here during snow season. Looking forward to our next trip!
