We went to the restaurant last night and the food was delicious, cooked well and nicely presented. The snapper was crispy from the wok, with tempura zucchini sticks and lemon sauce. Thank you, Chef.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this pub, but after twice not eating here, I’m very disappointed and won’t be loyal anymore. The food has let me down. The chicken schnitzel was dry, the chips were cold, and the portions have been getting smaller. When I gave it another go, the chicken ceaser salad was disgusting: no egg, a tough, dry piece of chicken, and barely any of it. I don’t know what’s going on at the Gunyah restaurant, but I won’t be back. Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere better. It’s sad, but it feels like greed has taken over.

We got all the boys together for a pre-wedding lunch and the food was awesome across the table. My steak, medium rare with mushroom sauce, chips and salad, was cooked perfectly. It’s a great pub with a lovely atmosphere, good food and super friendly, accommodating staff. Plan to arrive before your booking time if you can, because parking at the venue is limited and the surrounding streets fill up quickly.

The $90 steak special was awful. It came 20 minutes after everyone else’s food, was the same size as the $40 steaks, and wasn’t medium rare. Everything else on offer seems to be expensive deep-fried whatever. Really disappointed, I won’t be coming back.

Lexie, my very friendly Lab, decided to wander into the restaurant and outdoor dining area to check out the food and staff. She’s a cheeky girl 🤣 Brooke called me quickly, and we really appreciated the help. It’s a lovely spot for a meal and a drink. Thanks for looking after us and giving us a good laugh 🤣🤣
