The Wemberley Lakehouse, listed on Airbnb.com and booking.com, was a very disappointing stay. The house feels old and run down, with dampness, a bad smell, and outdated equipment. It seems Lakeshores Accomodation and the property owner haven't maintained it well. We reported several problems by phone, email, and text, but nothing was resolved. They also refused to send anyone to fix things during our 8-day stay. Looking at earlier reviews on Airbnb.com and booking.com, I got the impression the owners aren't concerned with guests having a good stay or with the property matching its advertising. I'd suggest researching other places before booking The Wemberley House.
