I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The aircon barely worked, and with the poor airflow and temperature control the bedding smelled damp and mouldy. The carpet was damp and badly needed a deep clean. The room had a bad bodily-fluid smell, and so did the desk chair, which also needed cleaning. Even the jug lid wouldn’t close. The room was a disappointment. Everything in it needs replacing or a thorough clean. I’d rather sleep in my swag than stay here again.

Chloe’s attitude and customer service at the Tavern were appalling. The lodge waitresses were the opposite, really kind and accommodating, with exceptional service. The pool was fantastic too, and the meals were mouthwatering.

I’m home from my holiday and still out of pocket $80. I was overcharged for my meal, and the refund still hasn’t come through. I ate at the establishment on Sunday, 6th July 2025. I only noticed the $80 overcharge the next day and phoned the tavern. An employee said they’d follow up, but nobody called back. When I went in and spoke to the manager, they said they couldn’t help right then, took my bank account details, and said the accounts team would sort it the following day. I still haven’t been reimbursed. Since then I’ve called three more times. Each time I was told the manager would call me back, but that hasn’t happened. It’s been extremely disappointing, with poor customer service and no accountability.

The restaurant was OK, though the food felt overpriced, and the room was very average for over $300 a night. Continental breakfast is included, but WiFi isn’t. Laundry costs extra if you need to wash your clothes.
