Street and Darren are wonderful hosts with excellent service. They make you feel at home straightaway, and it’s easy to relax. Grey Gum Lodge is the cleanest and best accommodation we’ve stayed in across all of OZ. We’ve been before and will always come back when we’re passing through. Definitely 💯!

Darren gave us a little map of things to see around Nimbin, including a suggestion that turned out to be a beautiful breakfast stop, The Farm Gate Cafe, when we left on Thursday morning. He was friendly and welcoming, which made our one night there restful and easy. Grey Gum Lodge is a tranquil place with a lovely garden view, comfortable rooms, a clean feel, a comfy bed with wonderfully cool linen, and very nice towels. It’s also only a short walk into town. Thoroughly recommend it. Thanks again, Darren.

The owners were so attentive, offering to pick us up in town or bring our bags over to us. We were made to feel right at home, and the rooms have incredible views just a few minutes’ walk from the centre. Even when the whole town lost power during our stay, they kept us informed and made us feel safe. We only stayed one night and tried to rearrange our plans to stay longer. Highly recommend, five stars don’t feel like enough.

Grey Gum was such a peaceful, private place to stop in Nimbin. The views were serene from sunrise through sunset, and town was just a ten minute stroll away. 10/10.

A friendly, clean place run by some of the nicest people. They were very helpful whenever we needed anything. If you’re in this area, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend.
