Karen was so thoughtful about our early checkout and offered breakfast in our room, so we wouldn't be starving on the drive back to Melbourne. A lovely way to finish our Great Ocean road trip. The place itself was lovely, and the hosts were super friendly, kind, and flexible.

The garden was lovely, with parrots and cows outside the fence, and we even spotted a rabbit. It was so peaceful here, and the owners were warm and friendly. The house looked just as nice as the pictures, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. I wish I could stay forever. ❤️

The hostess made us feel very welcome, and after a comfortable night in the bed, we had a good English breakfast. Butterfly Farm has a real old-time feel, like a landlord's home from a hundred years ago, with hot water and electricity. The antique furniture and wooden house fit the quiet countryside setting and made the stay feel charming and different. The towels were old and could do with replacing, and the toilet area was quite cold and a bit uncomfortable. Still, we enjoyed our one night at Butterfly Farm and appreciated its historic atmosphere.
