What made this place stand out for me was how supportive the staff were. They helped me find farm work and even lent me a van to get to the job sites. Thanks Dolphin Retreat Staff. The hostel has a great vibe, and it’s easy to make friends with the friendly backpackers. My room was comfortable and cleaned daily, and the place was clean and cozy. It’s also a short walk to both the beach and town centre. I really recommend it to anyone travelling through. You’ll feel at home and have what you need for your stay! Enzo

I stayed here for a long time and made lots of friends. Alex, the hostel caretaker, was incredibly helpful with everyday things. I had a really great experience and will definitely book again when I’m back in Bunbury.

The people were the best part for me. Lots of guests stay long term, so it feels familiar and close knit, and I ended up liking the place. The hostel itself isn’t the best, though. The beds weren’t good and it wasn’t the cleanest. They do provide vans for workers without a car, which is really nice. There aren’t many options, either.

I stayed at this hostel for about six months and had a good experience. A lot of the people who stayed there felt the same way. It’s a great place if you’re looking for work, including second year visa work, and planning to stay a while. The reception staff are happy to help you find something.
