The calm surroundings and delicious breakfast made for a lovely escape. This charming boutique hotel in Orange blends heritage features with modern architecture, and every detail feels considered. Our room was cozy, elegantly furnished and comfortable. The service was friendly and attentive, and made us feel at home. A relaxing, luxurious country getaway. Highly recommend!

For four years in a row, we've taken a holiday break at Byng Street Boutique Hotel, and each visit has brought the highest standard of hospitality. We've always stayed in the old building at the front. It's been nicely renovated and offers high-end comfort and luxury. The place brings old and new together in a tasteful, interesting way. Breakfast, made mostly with local produce, is a highlight and arguably the best we have all year. Thomas and Kristen, you've clearly got the hospitality business sorted, and the tourism awards come as no surprise. Thanks to you and the kind, ever helpful staff at Byng Street. Breakfast was wonderful, and the meals we had on both nights were great: Japanese at Razu Izakawa and tapas-style dinner at Byng St Local Store. I had asked for nearby restaurant ideas, and it was good to know there was also an in-house food option if we didn't feel up to going out. My husband has trouble walking, and every staff member was so accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable and had thoughtful touches, just right in every way. We stayed a few days ago and had an outstanding visit. It's sad that the owners are moving on. I'm glad we found this beautiful place before it changes hands, though I suspect the experience may not be the same under new owners. Thomas and Kristen Nock and their team are clearly the soul of the place.

Breakfast was divine, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Tom and Kristen clearly love what they do. We had such a lovely weekend in Orange, and were lucky to stay at the stunning Byng street Hotel. The striking old 1800s building at the front joins a modern section at the back, and its character really charmed us. The rooms are spacious and exquisite, with a fun pop of colour that feels different from regular hotels. The artwork is beautiful, and the guest lounge is a welcoming spot for a glass of wine. Can't wait to return!
