The restaurant food was good, but the service was very poor, both in speed and staff attitude. There were too many order mistakes, and guests should be met with warmth and certainty about what they've ordered. I'm quite old, but have nothing against staff because of their age. The room itself was okay, but the bathroom was a mess. It didn't look like it had been cleaned before we moved in: dead insects were on the floor, the skirting was dusty, and black grime surrounded the shower base and the bottom of the door.

A great spot for kids, with lots to do: indoor pool and spa, outdoor pool, basketball and pickleball courts, and an outdoor BBQ. You can fish from the jetty too. The food was lovely, and our room was clean with comfy beds.

We stayed one night in a Waterview Suite, choosing it for its location near the Maria Island ferry. We called ahead since we'd arrive after reception closed, and that was no problem. The restaurant was decent, and our server was great. The room was okay, though the layout felt odd: lots of living room space with little furniture, while the bedroom had no proper windows, just a high one in the wall dividing it from the living area. We arrived late and left early, so didn't use the facilities. For the accommodation itself, it felt quite overpriced.

The restaurant served the best food of our whole Tassie tour, and the resort itself was spectacularly located. Paula, I believe, greeted us pleasantly when we arrived. Everything seemed brand new, with a huge range of facilities: tennis and squash courts, pools, gyms, a boat ramp and jetty, plus rooms and cabins. We had two smart TVs and a microwave kitchenette in our room. There's also a bar. Don't miss this place, it's amazing.
