Designer Luxury 3brd - Epic Views - South Perth

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy for our two-day stay. The room was clean, but nobody explained how to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, so we used our own internet. The view faced the main road, though traffic noise wasn’t an issue. The low pull-out lounge was uncomfortable for watching TV, which was wall-mounted and needed tilting to see properly. The so-called big breakfast came with one piece of bacon, eggs cooked poached, fried, or scrambled, a quarter tomato, a small serving of mushrooms, two pieces of toast, and a triangular hash brown, plus tea, coffee, and juice. No fruit was included, and sauces such as tomato or BBQ cost extra.

We booked a balcony room for New Year’s Eve, and the view across to the city was lovely. It was an enjoyable stay, despite breakfast being a bit disappointing. The hotel is older, but our room was very clean and the staff were friendly. Getting to the South Perth foreshore and restaurants was easy by car or Uber.

I was woken at 3am by people partying and yelling in the room next door. Guests on the balcony above were smoking and tossing cans over the edge. It felt almost like a government housing building, and I think it needs an inspector called in and should be shut down. The rooms were old and smelly, with stains, mould, sticky floors, and broken things everywhere. I tried calling room service three times. They finally answered and hung up on me. A really nasty place. Don’t stay here.

From the outside the hotel looked a bit sketchy, but inside it was a different story. Our room was basic but clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had a great city view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. We’d definitely come back.
