The rooftop bar and pool area have amazing views, and my partner and I had a lovely anniversary stay on Friday. We enjoyed the room, pool, and late-night dinner delivered to the room. But I can't give the service a good rating. The next day, my partner, who booked the room in his name, got an email from the DoubleTree management team saying there was a stain in the carpet of room 422 on the 4th floor. They accused us of causing it and want to charge $200 for a repair clean. We won't pay for damage we didn't do. The stain was already there when we checked in around 4:40pm. We started decorating as soon as we entered, and photos of the finished setup from around 5:50pm, just over an hour later, show it. It was completely dry, like it had soaked into the carpet for days, maybe even weeks. It clearly didn't happen in that hour, as a fresh stain would still have seemed wet. We brought no food, drinks, or anything that matched its yellow-orange color, only clear and pink drinks. I understand we could have reported it, but assumed the hotel knew about it and that earlier cleaners had already seen and reported it. If this happens to you, keep proof and timestamped pictures of any damage you didn't cause. I've shared pictures of our lovely setup too.

The view from the pool and rooftop bar is glorious, calming, and relaxing. We stayed two nights over the long weekend for the sky show and will definitely return. The rooms, staff, and service were excellent. Breakfast was yummy, and the crew, Trung, Bridgett, Isabelle, Nhi, and Miya, did a fantastic job on Monday with a full house and a queue out the door. They got us seated in good time, cleared tables quickly, kept the food coming, and stayed cheerful and smiling. The front desk team also did a great job getting people in and out quickly with a smile. Well done, all. We'll be back.

The room was clean and nice, with a lovely water view from room 331, and I'd definitely come back. We were celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday. They let us check in early, which was lucky since we arrived ahead of time, and surprised her with a sweet treat. We also got cookies on arrival. The pool was great, and the drinks were good too. I had the pina-colada. The hotel was great and the service exceptional.

The breakfast selection was incredible and well prepared, and the staff were absolutely lovely. I came with my daughter and everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed the stay, especially the delicious cookies on arrival and the complimentary bottles of water in the room. We'll definitely return, thank you.

The rooms were very nice, clean, and tidy, and breakfast was included. It was pleasant, and the service was great. The price was the cheapest in the city, especially for the location and a 4-star hotel. My only issue was that the carlot across the road had a bad rating, so I ended up leaving my showroom-condition car at a B&B. I'd highly recommend staying here if you don't mind parking your car away from the hotel. Good quality for the price.
