The location and atmosphere were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food and cocktails were good too. The hotel doesn't really have parking, since seven spaces only help if you're lucky enough to get one. Street parking is paid and monitored, but the app was easy to use. I just had to move my car every three hours on weekdays, and that worked out fine. The room was small, as advertised, but thoughtfully arranged, with rails and spaces for things and room to slide luggage under the bed. I was comfortable working both in the room and in the shared areas. The blackout blinds and lack of bright LED lights meant I could sleep in proper darkness, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept deeply even on Sydney time.

The breakfast was a mess on both mornings we went. The coffee was watery, and so much was missing: white bread, ham, cheese, muffins, juice, pastries and fruit. I had to ask three times on the first day before a chef or cook eventually brought things out one at a time. It wasn't just one item running out. Other people arrived and looked stunned by how little there was. Maybe they don't have enough staff, or staff who care. I foolishly included breakfast in our room booking, so we were stuck with it. The room was also incredibly small and overpriced in my opinion. There wasn't space for our bags, so we had to keep putting them under the bed just to walk around it. I've never stayed in a room this cramped.

It's a great little hotel for the price and quality, close to everything. The buffet breakfast is good value at $20 when booked with the room. Rooms are clean and pleasant, and the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly too. I've stayed in five-star hotels that were a lot worse.

The rooms are modern and clean, though small, and they were great for the price we paid. As Accor platinum members, we were able to get a room before the 2pm check-in time, thanks to Manila. She'd just come back from her home in Nepal and had barely walked behind the reception desk, but still went above and beyond to make our check-in smooth.
