Richard, the owner, went out of his way to help when I lost my necklace. He searched the room and kept me updated, and I’m so, so grateful. He’s the nicest, sweetest man you’ll meet. I’d arrived super early, and he was so accommodating that after a couple of minutes my room was ready. The room was clean and spacious, with a microwave, and the showers were super hot with excellent pressure. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced, and there’s a pool table for a couple of games. The location is unbeatable, just a two minute walk to the coles, restaurants, and more. Parking inside is secured. I’ll definitely stay again, and I wish Richard and his wife all the best :)

The fish and chips were the best we’ve had in years, and the food was five star. It’s an OG pub with all the trimmings, the service was extraordinary, and the pool table was level! For the value and quality, I’d absolutely recommend this husband and wife run place. I’ll definitely be back. Cheers!

I don’t usually post reviews, but this was my room. There was milk, tea, and coffee, but no jug or microwave to heat water. I’ve no complaints about the food or beer. The TV didn’t work, maybe the remote batteries were flat. The shower was hot, though leaking fittings sprayed water onto the ceiling.
