We couldn’t make it for our New Year’s booking because flooding and road closures from the natural disaster prevented us from travelling. The owner or manager had agreed that a refund was reasonable in the circumstances, but then was rude, evasive and uncooperative on the phone. They’ve ignored our requests to return the booking fees. Worst experience ever.

The apartment was old, worn out and tired, with nothing luxurious about it despite the website calling these “12 luxury apartments.” It smelled musty and stale. We opened the windows and switched on the fans, but the smell stayed. Spend your money elsewhere!

We had a great nine-night stay and would happily come back. The high ceilings helped keep the large, clean room cool, along with two air conditioners and fans. There were floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over palm trees and the pool. Having a dishwasher and laundry facilities made things easier too. Highly recommend.

A friendly place that worked really well for our large family. The 12 separate apartments and very Islamic-friendly environment suited us, and management was very good. I’ve saved it to my favourites and look forward to coming back.

The apartment had a couple of dead downlight bulbs, so it was a little dimmer than it should’ve been. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would come back. It’s excellent value, with a car park for each apartment, free Wi-Fi, laundry access and friendly, helpful managers. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to 4 Mile Beach, with a no-frills pub across the road, Beach Shack restaurant around the corner, and a gourmet café, 4 Mile Fish & Chips and a well-stocked bottle shop down the road. The rooms have all the essentials and sit around a lovely little pool and spa, great for relaxing beside.
