The apartment was great, with excellent service and a beautiful pool and BBQ area. Town is close by.

The bedrooms and living areas were well sized, and the kitchen had plenty of supplies for making our own meals. It’s a wonderful apartment condo, with a very North American feel and size if you’re used to a standard Timeshare unit. I’d book again.

I live here on a lease, so I can't say what rooms are offered to tourists. Even the basic, unrenovated ones are okay. The location's great, with a $6 shuttle into town, or about a 30-minute walk if you're up for it. The pool is fine, and there's a BBQ area beside it.

The BBQ area is great, and the pool stays open late. The unit was clean and had laundry, but air conditioning was only in the lounge. At night, the sprinklers came on at 11pm and got louder about half an hour later. The single beds were uncomfortably hard, and the rooms stayed hot even with the ceiling fans, so I slept on the lounge all week.

I haven't stayed at The sands resort this time, but I met the owner and she was absolutely lovely. My best friend has stayed there many times and highly recommends it. I'll definitely book it next time.
