The garden annex was spotless and self-contained, and the aircon kept the bedroom cool all night. Breakfast came in generous portions with plenty of choice. It’s about a five-minute walk through the rainforest to the beach, where you can also stop for coffee at the coast lighthouse beach cafe. The hosts really went out of their way for us. I’d ignore the negative Booking.com comments, this place was stunning and probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in.

John is a personable host, and the B&B feels new, modern and very clean. There’s a guest room, kitchenette, bathroom and sitting area opening onto a lovely garden patio. It’s only a few minutes’ drive from the lighthouse, and the room was definitely better than a five-star hotel room, in my view. Highly recommended!

The apartment was great, with good breakfast and strong, steady Wi-Fi. John gave us a great introduction to the place. Lighthouse beach is around a 10-minute walk; if you don’t mind a longer walk of about 50 minutes, you can also walk along the beaches up to Flynn's.
