The managers were welcoming and professional, and the grounds are beautifully looked after. We spent a week on an ensuite powered site in Port Pirie. Our site had views of the water and port, and the spacious sites include many shady trees. The ensuite was roomy and clean. It’s an easy walk into town along the esplanade. If you’re there on a Sunday, The Amateur Fishing Club has live music from 2-6pm. It’s only a five minute walk from the park, with cheap beers and great entertainment. There’s also a family owned fresh seafood shop nearby, with great prawns and beautiful oyster. Highly recommend this caravan park.
The showers are amazing, with the best water pressure I’ve had in a park for a long time. The park is well presented, and you can see they’re putting time and money into doing it up. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Keep up the good work, well done.
The grounds look amazing, and the amenities are beautifully clean. It’s a great spot, just a short walk from town. We’ve stayed at this park many times over the years while travelling this beautiful country, and the current management are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the excellent standard. We’ll be back on our return journey. The wandering Weston's Ian & Ellen Weston
The cabins are clean, well maintained, and equipped for simple cooking. The manager was very helpful. We had a great stay at the caravan park and will come back next time we visit family in Port Pirie. The waterfront location was lovely, and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset, along with watching swans and pelicans.
There’s a jetty beside the park where a resident dolphin swims near the people swimming. The beach is kid friendly and has a play area. Staff are friendly and send texts with weather warnings and ideas for things to do nearby. You can pick up ice creams, soft drinks, and a few essentials at the office. The town is lovely, with Woolworths, Aldi, Harvey Norman, camping stores, a post office, and more. It’s a beautiful, well maintained park with clean amenities, and it didn’t feel overcrowded. Some sites are drive through, and it’s close to the things you need and want.
