The fish and chips I chose from the set menu were really nice. The fish was delicious, the chips were good, and the salad wasn’t overdone, so I actually ate it. Dessert was sticky date pudding, which was delicious too. I was at a convention, so everything was provided. The room was tidy and clean, with plenty of bottled water, biscuits, tea, and coffee. Fresh linen, towels that smelled good, a comfortable bed, and a TV that was easy to use all made for a good stay. The bathroom and shower were clean and didn’t feel dated. The shower pressure was unusually strong, though the showerhead could use some CLR or a water saving replacement. The reception lady was helpful and friendly. The pool looked clean and inviting, but it was still a bit cold. The location was very good, very close to town if you need anything. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d stay again. Thank you.

We went for the restaurant as well as a stay. I really liked the mushroom risotto, and my wife enjoyed the citrus Barramundi. We also had a few good cocktails, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Outside, the first impression wasn’t what I expected, but inside the room was a pleasant surprise: large, well appointed, with a nice big bathroom and a comfy bed. We were next to a main road, yet it stayed quiet. Thanks to the whole team for a great night. I’ll make the effort to come back soon.

The staff we met were all courteous, helpful, and friendly, and we’ll definitely stay again next time we pass through. Our room at Flinders on Main was spacious, spotless, and great for an overnight stop. We ate at the onsite restaurant and were offered a complimentary drink as guests, either beer, house wine, or a soft drink. A complimentary Continental Breakfast was included as well. Thanks for a lovely stay.
