Centrepoint Motor Inn

I was busy and only there for one night, so I didn't get to interact much with staff. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful when I arrived. The room was tidy, clean and had pretty much everything I needed. Its location was convenient for where I had to go the next day. A positive stay overall.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife called ahead while I was driving, so they had our name, licence and credit card details. We arrived just after 7pm, before the 8pm reception closing time, but reception was already shut. The after hours number on the door had no record of us, and we hadn't received an email confirmation. We gave them a Visa transfer number and eventually got keys from the security box. The envelope said SR1, but the key inside said room 2, which turned out to be a storage room. When we called again, nobody knew who we were, and we had to give all our details again. We were told to wait for help. A guy, maybe the on site maintenance person, came and fiddled around with keys before getting us another room. The only apology came from the guy with the keys. We couldn't log into the free WiFi because the password was wrong, and at 10pm I noticed there was just one towel for two people. I guess I should ring reception. Definitely won't be back.

The manager or owner was extremely rude, shouted in the hallways, and showed little respect for guests' privacy. It made the place stressful and unpleasant. The hotel needs professional management and basic respect for guests. The stay was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. I found cockroaches in my room every day. One day I came back from work and found dozens of dead and dying ones across the floor and even on my belongings. It was disgusting and unacceptable. Proper pest control is urgently needed. I'd strongly advise people to avoid the place until these serious problems are resolved.

The bathroom still had hair on the shower wall and floor, as if it hadn't been cleaned. Cockroaches were all over the room, on the walls and floor, and I killed about six. My young daughter woke up screaming after one ran over her face. I have photos. I've tried emailing and calling the motor inn, but got no response. The room wasn't kept to an appropriate, safe standard, and I'll be taking this further. This was the worst place I've stayed.
