Rosevears Hotel

The river view was perfect, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our group of four had a lovely lunch, with every dish excellent. We don’t usually order scallops or gnocchi at a pub, but the scallops two ways and house-made gnocchi were both cooked just right and presented professionally.

We missed the lunch window when we stopped by, so we settled in with a beer and took in the views instead. There’s plenty of parking, and we’d heard the food was exceptionally good.

The restaurant meals were fantastic, with fresh seafood, and the restaurant crew were friendly. Bar staff were excellent too, and happy to share a laugh. The location is fantastic, the rooms are tidy, and the views are stunning. The employees were great as well.

The hotel food was brilliant. My grilled fish and chips was cooked perfectly, and we also enjoyed the sticky banana pudding and warm Dutch apple cake. Staff in both the hotel and accommodation were so friendly, always smiling, and really helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, with easy access, and most had magnificent views.
