The Star Hotel Sale

We held a staff dinner in the Bistro to farewell our retiring Storeman. The head chef kindly agreed to a request that was well outside their usual service, which we really appreciated. The food was fantastic, and the staff took great care of us, friendly and professional throughout. Well done, you’ve got a good thing going. Keep it up. Nathan

We’re travelling, but we’ll be back before we leave. The meal was amazing, and the atmosphere felt very family friendly. They brought us fresh bread rolls as soon as we were seated. Charlie and Jess were especially friendly, and when we said we wanted the chef and staff to know how much we’d enjoyed the food, our wait staff went straight to the kitchen to pass it on. You don’t see that often these days. Don’t miss this place when you’re in Sale.

Maxine made us feel welcome and appreciated the whole time. She was such a lovely, professional and friendly waitress, and her service nearly outdid the Parma. I came to the Star to try its Best Parma, and it really was delicious and unforgettable. I can’t thank Maxine enough. I’ll be back for another meal very soon and hope she’s serving us again. Highly recommend the Star for a lovely meal and warm, friendly service. Thanks, Maxine. 😊

After a couple of long days working in Bairnsdale, I stopped in Sale looking for a bed at the Matador. I travel a lot for work in the medical industry, helping keep service on point in regional hospitals, whatever the challenges, with a smile and a get-it-done attitude. When I went to the local Star Hotel, Jess and Ashley were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They’re both a real credit to the service, friendliness and attitude there.
