The river and Wrest Point look gorgeous from room 310, and the room itself is lovely. We only wish we'd discovered this hotel eight days earlier. The bathroom is smaller than the ones in the other places we've stayed during our 11 days around Tassie. It's really windy tonight, and something outside the window keeps flapping. Even with it shut, air gets in.

We spent three days here while touring Tasmania and really enjoyed the stay. The rooms had a great view, and we especially liked the hot chocolate sachets with milk. A great place to stay.

Room 303, at the back of the top floor, was comfortable and had everything we needed. We didn't hear traffic, despite the motel being on a busy road. It's an easy walk to the Casino for meals, and only a short drive to the CBD. Thanks to Cheryl and Damien at reception for letting us use the private laundry when the guest dryer needed repairs. We'd happily recommend the motel.

The location was excellent. We parked beside the Casino car park, then watched the sunset colours over the marina with kebabs and a bottle of red. Great evening. The bed was comfortable too, though the bathroom door squeaked. I reported it.

We booked for two adults and one child, and found the stay comfortable, with friendly staff. Our room looked partly out over the Bay, and the bathroom was clean. The microwave and toaster made preparing food easy, which helped since we're strict vegetarians. It's not too far from the CBD, and the Bruny Island ferry is a 35 minute drive away. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
