Ellie's Cottages

Elly had thought of loads of lovely touches, including hand lotion, nice perfume, a fresh fruit bowl and even a towel warmer. The place was cosy and very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We were within walking distance of cafes and the Nut, and watched two DVDs from her collection during our two day stay.

We could have happily stayed longer at Ellie's Spa Cottage. It had all we needed, plus plenty of thoughtful extras: a charming cottage feel, port, chocolates, biscuits, fruit, bread, yoghurt, muesli, orange juice and milk. There was also a DVD player with a great movie selection, and a relaxing spa with candles and bathrobes.

Ellie has made this place feel like a real home, with warm, welcoming furnishings. I’ve travelled a lot, but this place felt different, and I didn’t want to leave. Our romantic getaway was so much nicer thanks to her. I’ll be back and will tell all my friends. Thank you, Ellie.

The owner made our stay such a pleasure, and had catered for so much, even breakfast every day. The chocolates, wine and biscuits were a lovely surprise. My partner surprised me with a getaway for our third anniversary, and I absolutely loved it. The place was clean and awesome, more like our home for a week. The service was fantastic. I’ll highly recommend it to all our friends and family. Thank you so much.
