The meal was outstanding, especially the surf and turf, easily one of the best dishes we’ve had. Service was just as good, warm and attentive. Max, the publican, made us feel right at home, and Jo and Harriet were friendly, professional and a credit to the team. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The beautiful location and awesome view made it easy to relax. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at the Stanley Hotel, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for the hospitality, food and setting.

The staff really helped us out when we got caught in a sudden storm after the beach, offering a dryer for our soaked clothes. Between that warm service and the cosy pub on site, they saved the day. Nice stay and excellent location.

We’d booked weeks ahead expecting a great adventure, but the service was some of the poorest we’ve experienced. The beer was warm, the hostess scowled, and nobody cleared the empty glasses. It felt like they didn’t care because no one was likely to come back. I reckon we’d have been treated better in Smitherton.

The rooms are small, but they have all you need, and the beds were comfy and everything very clean. The meals are amazing. The man who greeted me and helped when I arrived was lovely. Awesome place to stay, would definitely recommend.

The food is so good, and the portions are generous for the price. Max and the team were incredibly helpful and friendly. I’ve probably not had customer service this good in years. The kind of experience that makes life feel full. Can’t recommend enough, thank you!
